The Carnegie Mellon Baseball Club will hold tryouts for the fall season on September 1st and 2nd. There will also be an interest meeting on August 30 at 7:30 PM in the UC Dowd room. Any players interested in joining should click the link below for Prospective Players.
After making significant improvements in their second year in the National Club Baseball Association, the Tartans are primed for a big year. The core of the team returns from the spring season, including former team MVPs Jim Stedman, Brian Tabata, and Ryan Comes, along with pitching ace Jon Coens. Head coach Claudio Reilsono returns for his third year with the club. The fall schedule is complete, and can be viewed by visiting the Scores and Schedule page. The Tartans face 3 NCBA conference rivals in West Virginia, Robert Morris, and Pitt, along with Franciscan University, a program entering its first year as a Division III varsity team.
