Kevin Cohn will resign as President

July 19, 2005

After careful thought on the matter, I have decided to resign my position as President of the Club, effective Sunday, August 28, 2005. I have nominated Ryan Comes, currently the Equipment Manager, for acting President, a decision that has been ratified by the Board of Directors.

This is a special organization, and I am proud to have led it for more than two and a half years. In that time, the Club has soared to new heights in terms of membership and fundraising, as well as recognition. The Club's cap and "Tartans Baseball" t-shirt are ubiquitous on campus.

The new coaching staff of Claudio Reilsono and Randy Bowser will ensure that the Club continues improving both on and off the field. A record number of incoming freshmen will strengthen the roster and depth the likes of which the team has never before seen.

Serving as President of this Club has been one of the highlights of my time at Carnegie Mellon, and I will always look fondly upon the last two and a half years. I wish the entire organization the best of luck in future seasons, and look forward to attending some games.

Sincerely,

Kevin Cohn
